That’s right…If you could drive the moon, and combine the electric miles of all the Chevrolet Volt owners, they could have driven to the moon without spending a dime on fuel! Since the Volt debuted, owners have  consistently achieved the published EPA-estimated mileage of 98 MPGe. Many are even exceeding it!

The typical Volt owner who charges their car regularly is going 900 miles between fill-ups and avoiding $1,300.00 per year at the pump. One Volt owner, Brent Waldrep had this to say: “I have driven more than 23, 500 miles in my Volt in 21 months and have been to the gas station twice. The last time was in August (2012) and I still have about 65% of that tank left. I go about 9,000-10,000 miles between fill ups.” Though this is atypical, he’s definitely not alone.

Here’s what Manning had to say about working with Buick and the Verano: “We’re talking about the new Verano but using important football lingo. Last year we were calling audibles and this year it’s a spot called ‘Blindsided’. No one wants to be blindsided, especially a quarterback. Usually you have one guy protecting the blindside but these features are so good, it’s really like 11 having guys blocking your blindside.”

With the available safety package that includes Side Blind Zone Alert and Rear Cross Traffic Alert. These two technologies use radar sensors hidden in the corners of the rear bumper than help drivers avoid crashes when changing lanes or backing up. The rear cross traffic alert senses cross traffic all the way up to 65 feet that may not be visible to the driver when you’re backing out of the driveway or parking space. If you look up at the picture above you can see the red icon indicating there’s a car you can’t see. The Verano will also beep three times in the direction of of the car you can’t see.

We recently purchased a 2013 Chevy Sonic Hatchback from Brett Barnhouse. I likes the fact that he did not pressure us in any way. He let us test drove the car for several hours one Saturday afternoon. The only thing missing on this car that I wanted was a sunroof. He had one installed for us. They did an great job on the installation. You can not tell that it was not factory installed. Love everything about this car.
