My husband and I were shopping online for a 2010/2011 Avalanche.We purchased my current 2004 Avalanche new 9 years ago. I LOVED my 2004 Avalanche and wanted an upgrade, so my husband and I started looking online. We narrowed the search down to three different Avalanches at three different locations, of the three I first chose a white LT because it was many thousands less, but after I noticed that it wasn’t certified I dismissed it and narrowed it down to two different colored LTZ’s at two different locations. One was Black and the other was Grey and the only other difference was the Grey one was $1000.00 more because it had 10,000 miles less on it. So I spoke with each dealer and made my decision who I wanted to go with solely based on how I was spoken too and dealt with over the phone, but I didn’t tell my husband I preferred Sweeney I wanted to see which one he picked and why. My husband talked with people at each dealership for two days and then sat in front of the computer for three hours scrutinizing everything about the two trucks. Finally he made a decision and SWEENEY was the winner. I had chosen Sweeney as well because of the excellent manner in which I was spoken to over the phone. I would call and ask general questions, like where are you located and whom should I speak with regarding a technical issue etc… I was just gauging the atmosphere and I was pleasantly surprised that everyone I spoke with was nice and patient with me and my questions. When I did ask about the vehicle directly I was asked to leave my name and someone would return my call. Now, On the other hand, when Rex called he was getting or giving information and one main reason he chose SWEENEY was because nobody “jacked him around” (his words) He gave or got the information he needed and carried on with his day. He was NOT bothered or hounded three times a day with calls from the dealer and when he said he wanted to purchase the vehicle they believed him. Other dealers were calling him twice a day trying to convince him to stop in, which just annoyed him. When we arrived I shook hands with Dave and left to get back to my kids. My husband was at the dealership for less the an hour and got an AMAZING deal! My husband came home smiling and literally said to me ” That was the Easiest, fastest and the least painful experience I have ever had at a Car dealership! ” I have to agree with him too, he wasn’t even gone 90 minutes, and I am ecstatic with my new truck!! We have nothing but Great things to say about Sweeney! It took me longer to write this review then it did for my husband to get me my Avalanche at Sweeney THANKS DAVE and MARK for the NO STRESS purchase!!
